Artist Patty Chavez

My name is Patty Chavez. I have always had a love of art, especially painting. As the daughter of migrant workers, I moved around a lot, giving me a unique perspective that has influenced a lot of what I do. I now call northern New Mexico home, an inspiring place to create.

In my time as an artist, I have sold pieces to a variety of people, including other artists. I also set up at community events and sell as a vendor. My work has gone to many a tourist.

The majority of my work is acrylic on canvas though I have also painted on wood and flagstone. I am self taught dabble in various styles such as surrealism, pointillism, abstract and neurographic art. If you have any specific requests feel free to contact me. I’m open to all projects, including murals.
